This sponge is significantly different from previously offered cleaning sponges. In contrast to conventional cleaning sponges, it is particularly suitable for all types of pimpled rubbers and extremely sticky pimpled rubbers.

By cleaning your short and long pimples with this cleaning sponge and a suitable rubber cleaner (for example, our SpinLord Ultra Clean), you can noticeably improve your playing characteristics immediately (compared to a non-cleaned rubber; cleaning is particularly effective for rubbers with non-ridged but slightly sticky pimple heads).

For pimpled rubbers, the cleaning fluid must be sprayed onto the sponge, not onto the rubber itself!

Even extremely sticky and therefore very scratch-sensitive pimpled rubbers can be cleaned more effectively with this cleaning sponge than with conventional cleaning sponges. The ultra-soft surface of the cleaning sponge glides smoothly over the flooring during cleaning. It's also easy to massage in the cleaning fluid, which helps maintain its stickiness for longer. With this sponge, there's no risk of sponge particles sticking to the sticky surface.

For simpler (normally grippy) nubby insoles, however, this sponge is neither better nor worse than a conventional cleaning sponge.

It still has the advantage of being gentle on the material, even with these surfaces. However, it also has the disadvantage of a longer drying time, as the suction power for the cleaning fluid is significantly reduced (this disadvantage compared to conventional cleaning sponges must also be mentioned, to be fair). On the other hand, it has a high absorption power for (dust) particles.

The cleaning sponge is easily washable.
